The Monocle Café is looking for an exceptionally motivated and professional supervisor. The successful candidate will be capable of delivering excellent customer service and products in a fast-paced environment, while also being responsible for organising and overseeing the front of house and kitchen teams.
We are looking for someone who can maintain high standards of operation, as well as helping managers in our various outlets to develop team members, enhance the customer environment and maximise sales. You will have great communication skills and the ability to make our regulars and new guests feel welcome and special. Outstanding coffee is a core part of our offer so some barista experience is an advantage – but not essential.
You will perform all POS duties and front and back-of-house functions, including opening, closing and cleaning, co-ordinating with the company as and when necessary. You must be able to work weekends, evenings and special events as needed. Excellent verbal and written English and basic computer skills are obligatory.
