Black Mocha is an independent cafe in the centre of Brighton serving speciality coffee quality cakes and brunches.
We are seeking a sales focused General Manager, responsible and accountable for the day-to- day operations of the coffee shop. You will work hands-on and lead by example with the front of house and kitchen team in delivering a high standard of consistency and outstanding customer service while maintaining targets, budgets and stock margins.
Our standards are very high and we are looking for an energetic person with a passion for hospitality who wants to be involved in a young progressive company who will also bring their own passion, enthusiasm and knowledge to the business.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for an astute, friendly, outgoing individual with a passion for hospitality and proven managerial experience in a similar environment. You must be adaptable and flexible with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude able to motivate and engage your team when under pressure. You must be a competent barista with a passion for coffee and a desire to maintain and drive product quality and excellent customer service through team development and the ability to lead.
